photoLeslie Howard Raymond A Celebration of Life Service for Leslie Howard Raymond of Crossville will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Crossville Memorial on Highway 127 across from Wal-Mart. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., with the service to follow from 8-9 p.m. A beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend and Santa to many, the 63-year-old Raymond was in charge of production, planning and scheduling at Crossville Ceramics following a 30-year career wtih Carter Inx and Avery Dennison. Raymond was preceded in death by mother June Catherine Hancock and stepfather Farley Hancock. He leaves behind a daughter, Misty Raymond Pearson of Cookeville, a son, Jody Raymond of Crossville, grandchildren Jacob Pearson, Savannah Pearson, Kobe Raymond and Gage Raymond and brothers James Calvin (JC) Hancock and wife Kim, Mike Dolinich and Joe Raymond. A 1969 graduate of Cumberland County High School, Raymond was born on July 5, 1950. He died in his home on Saturday, Dec. 28. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the prostate cancer research society in his name.
