Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was established in September of 1986 by Robert Grimsley with the support of family and friends in the community. Our founding mission was to offer an affordable and tailored funeral experience for grieving families. Homesteaders Life Company to support advanced planning and funding options for burial and cremation services.
In 2006, responding to community needs, we added Cumberland County’s first crematory, providing another meaningful option for honoring loved ones. As demand for cremation continued to grow, the need for a more efficient crematory was evident. In 2011, we added a new crematory facility, state of the art embalming room, and care center for events to better serve our customers.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. would not be where we are today without the contributions and support of Ambrose Cole, Don Kerley, and Lowell Simmons. Our gratitude for the friendship and backing of these individuals is unending.
Today, Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. continues to be family owned and operated. We remain committed to serving our community with empathy and professionalism during life’s most challenging moments.
