Joanne Canelles

Joanne Canelles, age 75, was born on August 26, 1943 to Nicholas and Cleo Kalfakis Anastasakis in Chania Crete, Greece and passed away on July 15, 2019 in Knoxville, TN. She and her husband own Vegas Steak House and Lounge in Crossville, TN. She enjoyed interior decorating and arts and crafts including needlework, drawing and painting, and jewelry making. When outdoors, gardening and landscaping were among her passions, but inside, she loved to cook and entertain. Joanne liked reading, politics and history; and was well traveled with her favorite country being Egypt. She was a lover of Cretan music and dancing. Joanne loved life, giving of herself doing charity work, and if you were on the receiving end of her pranks you knew you were loved.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, “Jim” Dimitrios Canelles; son- Nick Canelles (Lisa); daughter- Maggie Canelles-Lundholm (Josh King); grandsons- Dimitri and Dominick Canelles, and Alex Lundholm; sister- Keti Anastasaki and brother-in-law- Manoli Tzamariathakis; and many beloved nieces and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2019, at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home from 4 to 8 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 8:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Memorial Scholarship Fund at Cumberland County Bank.

Karen Nicole Seiber

Karen Nicole Seiber, age 32, was born on September 2, 1986 to Michael Lynn Farr and Melinda Fay Anderson Farr. She passed away on July 5, 2019. Karen loved music, going to the river, swimming, and hanging out with friends.

She is survived by her grandparents, Mary Gibson and James Farr; parents, Michael Lynn Farr and Melinda Fay Anderson Farr; children, Alexis and Caiden Seiber; brothers and sisters, Christopher Farr, Shane Farr, and Brianna Farr; and aunts and uncles, Margie Welch, Rosemary Dishman, Teresa Dishman, Roy Dishman, Sherry Farr, Kay Farr, and Jeff Farr.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim Anderson and Marie Farr.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 1 to 3 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will also be held on Monday following visitation with David Morgan officiating. She will be laid to rest in Crossville City Cemetery.

Joseph Tuttle

Joseph Tuttle, age 79, was born on July 30, 1939 to Ezekiel and Laura Owens Tuttle in Claiborne County, TN. He passed away on July 8, 2019. Joseph loved to be outside fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elsie Tuttle; children, Joe Tuttle, Tressie Smith (Jeff), Steve Tuttle (Tina), and Robert Tuttle (Jennifer); 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brothers, Esco, Othen, Dewey, and Elvert Tuttle; and sisters, Ruby Norris, Mary Umphrey, and Flossie Umphrey.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Willis and John Tuttle.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 12 to 2 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services for Joseph will also be held on Thursday following visitation with George Maddox officiating. He will be laid to rest in Crossville City Cemetery.

Delmer K. Burgess

Delmer K. Burgess, age 67, was born on December 9, 1951 to Allen and Lillie Mae Burgess in Cumberland County, TN. He passed away on June 26, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Burgess; children, Dewayne (Theresa) Burgess and Charlotte (Kevin) Walker; grandchildren, Brittany (DeAlan) Marr, Grace (Derrick) Dixon, and Timm (Sarah) Walker; and siblings, Roger (Pam) Burgess, Willis (Debbie) Burgess, Marvin (Diane) Burgess, Doyle (Marla) Burgess, Aster (Fannie) Burgess, Mamie Cole, Treva (Joey) McKinney, Frances (Randy) Irwin, and Darlene (Dave) Bell.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Joyce Croft, Diane Walker, and Alma Downs.

Graveside services for Delmer were held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Allen Burgess Cemetery.

Bobby Charles Pugh

Bobby Charles Pugh, age 72, was born on November 17, 1946 to James and Ora Greene Pugh in Pleasant Hill, TN. He passed away on July 7, 2019. Bobby loved hosting parties and cooking and smoking meat for them. He also loved working, NASCAR racing, and football.

He is survived by his father, James Pugh; wife, Mildred Louise Green Pugh; children, Angelia Midgett and Beverly Holderman; grandchildren, Ashley Stockton (Blake), Payton Campbell (Keelan), Chase Holderman, and Hunter Holderman; great grandchildren, Maycen, McKynlee, Madilee, Brylee, Kade, and Knox; brothers, Lloyd Pugh (Maria), Michael Pugh (Marcella), and Tracy Pugh (Connie); sister, Sharon Sisco; sisters-in-law, Martha Green, Marlene Pryor, and Michelle Weaver; and special friends, Kenneth and Shelia Keyes.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ora Greene Pugh; brother, Gary Pugh; and sister, Cleta Pugh.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 12 to 2 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services for Bobby will also be held on Wednesday following visitation with Pastor Freddy Melton officiating. He will be laid to rest in Pugh Cemetery.

Kelly Matthew Newman

Kelly Matthew Newman, age 59, was born on Dec. 14, 1959. He will be loved and missed by his mother, Edith L. Newman; his brothers and sisters; and his friends and caregivers at Access Program in Jamestown, TN. Viewing and visitation will be on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home.

Hobert Delk

Hobert Delk, age 72, was born on August 31, 1946 to Ancil and Della Miller Delk in Jellico, TN. He passed away on June 27, 2019. Hobert has been the pastor of 127N Baptist Church for over 20 years. He loved his family and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Delk; sons, Thomas Delk (Sonya) and Anthony Delk (Shelly); grandchildren, Angel Webb (Aaron), David Delk (Stephanie), Michael Delk (Caitlin), Daniel Delk, Dalton Delk (Chelsea), Amber Delk, Nikita Delk, Will Delk, Jack Delk, Brooklyn Delk, Tommy Delk, and Emma Delk; and great grandchildren, Karleigh, Jack Bryan, Rylee, Jaxson, Noah, Ben, Grayson, and Silas.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Omer Dud Manis

Omer Dud Manis, age 78, was born on April 1, 1941 to Ocie and Hillie Wright Manis in Jamestown, TN. He passed away on June 26, 2019. Omer enjoyed cruising around and visiting with people and hunting ginseng.

He is survived by his children, Tommy Manis(Lolita) and Tammie Manis; three grandchildren-Trent Robinson, Ty Manis, Garth Harrell (Hannah) and TJ Jones; great grand children- Oliver Harrell and Madeline Harrell; brothers, Daniel, Earl, Coy, Eddie, Roy, and Jim; and sisters, Jimmie and Reba.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and eight siblings.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 5:00 to 6:30 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Services for Omer will also be held on Friday following visitation with Robbie Buck officiating.

Fannie Virginia Hargis

Fannie Virginia Hargis, age 84, was born to Johnnie Francis and Mae Smithers Lawson on December 29, 1934 in Robbins, TN and passed away on June 22, 2019 in Crossville, TN.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Claude Hargis; children, Brenda Hargis, Mary Bergonzini, Donna Dillion, and Dennis Hargis; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; children, Shirley J. Walker, Douglas D. Hargis, and Barry K. Hargis; and granddaughter, Kimberly Hargis.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 11 to 1 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services for Fannie will also be held on Thursday following visitation with Tommy Harris officiating. She will be laid to rest in Big Lick Cemetery.

Teresa Ann Lane

Teresa Ann Lane, age 63, was born to Leonard and Ellen Ramsey Morgan on May 17, 1956 in Kingston, TN and passed away on June 20, 2019 in Cookeville, TN.

She is survived by her husband- Nickie Lane; sons- Kevin (Teoria), Nathan, and Lyndon Lane; grandchildren- Madelynn, Marlee, Gavin, Jacey, and Jaden Lane; brother- Wayne Morgan and sister-in-law- Terry Morgan; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother- Doug Morgan.

A Celebration of Life Gathering/Dinner will be at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall of Monterey, TN on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 2:00.
