After his graduation from high school (Hagerstown, IN), John attended Ball State University, graduating with a Business and Marketing degree. He worked in sales at many different businesses throughout his career, with an entrepreneurial eye for new ventures. He retired from the company he founded, Eagle Industries, in 2010.
He deeply cherished his family and friends, and was famous for traveling hundreds of miles to attend his children’s and grandchildren’s celebrations and events.
John was known for his mechanical aptitude, and could repair or construct nearly anything and often came up with new and innovative ways to solve problems.
