Martha Louise Farr, age 93, of Crossville passed into eternal rest September 3, 2012. Funeral services were held September 7th at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Zack Snyder and Bro. Terry Swaw officiating. Singers were John Pugh, Janice Norris, and Trudy Gibbons. Burial was at Big Lick Cemetery.
Louise was born March 21, 1919 in Crossville, the daughter of John Whitley and Minnie Gertrude Randolph Campbell. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She also enjoyed gardening and was an excellent cook, but her most important goal in life was to serve God and care for her family that she loved dearly.
Survivors to mourn her passing are sons William (Bill) Farr Jr.(Jonnie), Glenn Farr (Christine), Oliver Farr (Faye), James Farr (Marie), and Maynard (Shorty) Farr (Barbara), daughters- Ruby Cross (Curtis), Lela Gist (Raymond), Linda Hawn (Terry), and Ann Thompson (Redgie) and daughter-in-law Evelyn Farr, 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.
Those that preceded her in death and welcomed her to heaven was her youngest son T. Michael Farr, parents John and Minnie Campbell, brothers Roy, Allen, Lester, and James Earl Campbell, sisters Mary Lida Peterson and Alice Farr and grandchildren Leslie Cross and Jackie Squires.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren.
