John Strahlman, age 85, was born April 25, 1927 in New York City and died Sept. 2, 2012 in Crossville, TN. He was a veteran that spent his life as a technician in engineering and in his spare time loved science and science fiction, anything to do with outer space, and was an avid gardener.

He was survived by his wife- Doris Strahlman; son- John Wesley Strahlman Jr. and Harriet; daughters- Deborah Cacho and John, Elizabeth Schwartz; grandchildren- Matthew, Laura and Justin, Brian and Inna, Eric, John Wesley, and Benjamin; brother- Richard Strahlman and Mona.

He was preceded in death by his parents- John and Deborah Strahlman and brother- Arthur Strahlman.
