Evans Frady

Evans Frady, age 93, was born on June 28, 1931 to William Washington Frady and Nancy Jane Smith Frady in Crossville, TN and passed away on December 23, 2024. In his younger years, he served our country in the Army, and loved talking about his time there. He worked as a line foreman for General Motors, and had many treasured memories. He loved to tell stories about his time in Ohio, and his family loved to hear them although they were told over and over. Evans loved a big juicy burger from Burger King, but his favorite food was when Brenda would cook him dinner from the garden. After Ida died, Brenda never tired of visiting him, fixing him food, and listening to the stories of his life.

He is survived by nieces and nephews and two very special friends- Waymon DeBord and Don Neufer, a brother-in-law- Luther Brown and a sister-in-law- JoAnn Wyatt.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife- Ida Brown Frady; son- Gary Frady (Georgia); and siblings- Derotha Davis, Rhoda Webb, Racheal Horseman, Ruby Middleton, Winnie, Williard, Lawrence, Leonard, and Everett Frady.

A visitation will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 11 to 1 with a service to follow where he will be honored for his service to our country. Burial will be in Music Cemetery where he will be laid beside his wife and Thom Hassler will officiate.
