Jared Jules Collard, 80, of Crossville passed away on August 27, 2012 at Cumberland Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 7, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church Pavilion with Will Wells and Lanita Monroe officiating.

Born on June 8, 1932 to Howard Willard and Frances Amber Fessenden Collard in Madison, WI. He worked as an Ambassador for the Federal Government. He retired from Foreign Services, enjoyed music, he was an Opera Singer for the Washington Opera. He sung with the 3 Tenors. He also was a retired Alumni Service of the University of Maryland.

He is survived by his wife Shelley Lawson Hankins Collard, Step-son Shane Hankins, daughters Kathy Kuper and husband Dave, and Sue Larson and husband Bill. Grandchildren Colton, Amanda, and Jenny; two great grandchildren and brother Craig Collard.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
