Parnell Bentley, age 82, was born on May 12, 1930 in Letcher, KY and died August 25, 2012 in his home in Crossville, TN. He enlisted in the Army and served over a year on foreign soil. He was awarded several decorations- Medals, Badges, Citations and Campaign Ribbons. He worked as a coal miner.

He was survived by a loving family that stayed by his side and preceded in death by his parents- Ambrose and Mary Tackett Bentley and loving wife-Dorothy Seals Bentley. He will be laid to rest beside her in the Bentley Cemetery in Millstone, KY.
