Ronnie Gene Wilson, age 68, was born on May 14, 1956 to Eston Elmo and Ollie Jane Lewis Wilson in Cumberland County, TN and passed away in his home on September 15, 2024. He was a mason, laying brick for homes across the area. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and coon hunting. He loved hearing the dogs bark while running dogs with his friends. The joy of his life was spending time with his grand children and family was where his heart was.
He is survived by his wife- Kathy Wilson, children- Amanda Pedigo (Aaron), Cindy Wilson, and Abe Wilson (Sheena); grandchildren- Brooke Hicks (Blake), Bailey Eaton, Jaclyn Eaton, Taylor Guthrie, Bryson Wilson, and Hadlee Wilson; great grandson- Colt Hicks; and siblings- Mary Tabor, Paul Wilson, and Jerry Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings- Elbert Wilson, Amy Bolin, Uldean Stone, Eleanor Benton, and Danny Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 5 to 8 and a funeral service will be on Friday, September 20 at 10:00 with Bro. Nate Hargis officiating. Burial will be in Thomas Springs Cemetery.
Sending so many Prayers and Love to this Sweet Beautiful Family. Ronnie was such a Wonderful Man and he sure loves his family. He’s sure suffered a lot and now he will have no more pain and suffering. It’s just so hard to let go and you always have the pain but in time the tears turn into beautiful memories and smiles when you look back at things he said and done. He will always live in your heart and you will know how much he loves you all. Praying for Peace during this difficult time.
