Claude Marvin Deck, 57, of Crossville, TN, passed away on July 8, 2012.  His family received friends on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 11:00 to 1:00 with the funeral following at 1:00 PM at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial was in the Woody Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Danny Kendall, Ron Smiddie, Lynn Deck, Ricky Deck, Tracey Buck, and Gary Cook.  Honorary pallbearer was Scott Hyder.

Marvin was born on February 23, 1955 in Monterey, Tennessee to Claude Henry Deck and Dorothy Elizabeth Burke Deck.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Sue Deck, mother, Dorothy Elizabeth Deck, daughters, Crystal Lynn Deck Hyder and Shawna Marie Deck, step sons, Michael Kerley and Brian Belvin, grandchildren, Scott Monroe Hyder, Ashley Nicole Hyder, and Caitlin Cheyanne Deck, aunts, Juanita Sabbattus, Mary Jane Buck, Pearl Campbell, and Sarah Jean Lane, uncles, James J. Reed, Ricky Deck, Melvin Deck, and Gerald Deck, and sister, Tina Deck Cook.

He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Henry Deck, brother, Perry Martin Deck, step son, Scott Kerley, and grandparents, Jim and Pearlie (Woody) Burke, and Charlie and Hazel (Brown) Deck.
