Floyd Davidson, 70, of Crossville, TN, passed away on June 28, 2012.  Visitation will be held Sunday, July 1, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with the service following at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Crossville Memorial.  Chris Phillips will officiate the service.  Burial will be in the Hyder Cemetery.  Pallbearers include Sammy Joe Sherrill, Elbert Davis, Dewayne Davis, Clyde Barnett, Paul Davidson and Gary Davidson.

Floyd was born on August 13, 1941 in Cumberland County, TN to Charlie Davidson and Ethel Hall Davidson.  He worked throughout his life as a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. 

He is survived by his wife, Edwina Davidson, daughter, Glenda Hicks, brothers, B.J. Davidson, Dallas Davidson, and Ed Davidson, and sister, Ellie Webb-Cross. 

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ira Davidson. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cumberland Hospice House.
