John E. Lockwood, age 70, was born December 16, 1952, to the parents Elisha L Lockwood and Zdenka Z Lockwood in Sparta, Tennessee.
John’s life was filled with years of happiness and generosity – a career at Carter Avery Dennison, the tradition of farming and raising chickens, and hunting especially, “coon hunting”. Horse-shoe pitching gave him many hours of pleasure winning trophies at the local and state competition. Family members who have preceded him in death: parents; sister: Zdenka L Austin; nephew: Ashley Burg.

John made the transition back to the Heavens above on June 8, 2023. He was in the company of a life-long friend and his newest friend; both appreciating his humor and jokes.
