David G. Lewis, 77, of Crossville, TN, passed away on June 27, 2012 at his home.  Visitation was held on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with the service following at 3:00 PM at the Pomona United Methodist Church.  Pastor Jerry Mayo officiated the service.  Pallbearers included J.J. Boyce-Lewis, Tracy Lewis, Danny Jones, Donnie Rimmer, Gerald Lewis, David Alan Fiste, Dan Fiste, and John Filburn.

David was born to William and Della Bryant Lewis on January 1, 1935 at the family’s farm in Cumberland County, TN.  During his lifetime, he was a business owner and farmer.  He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Catherine (Cathy) Lewis, son, David Neal Lewis, grandchildren, Logan Deane Lewis, Jason “J.J.” Boyce-Lewis, and Savanna LeAnn Lewis, brother, Jerry W. Lewis and wife Margie, sisters, Ollie Fiste, Faye Fissel and husband John, and Kay Eckert and husband Jerry.

David was preceded in death by his parents, William V. Lewis and Della Bryant Lewis, brothers, Doward, Gordon, and Curtis Lewis, and sisters, Audrey Hardee and Eula Davis.
