Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Pamela Sue Holton was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 17, 1956 and gained her wings to heaven on November 24, 2022, at her home in Crossville, Tennessee. Pam was the daughter of Stanton and Marie Wright and grew up with one sister, Lisa Ricketts.
In 1975, she married Robert Holton, the love of her life. They had two children, Tori and Josh Holton. After Robert’s passing in 1989, Pam and the children moved to Crossville. She worked for Cumberland County Schools for many years. Pam dedicated her life to helping students with disabilities and their families. She was loved by many co-workers, students, and families throughout the years.
Everyone that knew Pam felt special and loved. She had a way of making everyone know how important they were. She would do anything for anyone and was a selfless human being. She was loved by many friends and family.
Pam lovingly referred to herself as “Mamaw” and was the Mamaw to her five grandchildren: Ali Holton, Preston Carr, Makayla Carr, Paytyn Carr, and Madison Holton. She welcomed Ernie Carr, Michael Brown, and Marlene Holton as her other children. Her life revolved around her family. She will truly be missed.
A “Celebration of Life and Memorial Service” will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 6 PM, at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 6 PM. Family and Friends are invited to come and share fond memories and special stories.
So sorry I didn’t know Pan had passed. Our love and prayers to all of her friends and family.
