Esker Goddard, age 78, was born on February 18, 1934 and died on May 18, 2012 in Crossville, TN. He lived his life as a miner in the rock quarry and enjoyed listening to gospel music and tinkering with his car.

He is survived by his sisters- Ella Stoker and husband F.C., and Patricia Johnson and husband Mike; special nephew- Randy Edwards; brothers- Chester Goddard all of Crossville, TN and Jimmy Webb and wife Peggy of Georgia; and other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents- John Goddard Sr. and Samantha Edwards Webb; sister- Edna King; brothers- John Goddard Jr. and Samuel Edwards; grandparents- Houston and Amanda Edwards.

Visitation will be at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 12 to 2 PM with a service to follow at 2. Burial will be in The Haley Grove Cemetery.
