Ernest Sherril, age 91, was born on April 21, 1931 to Gaither and Pearl (Godsey) Sherrill in Crab Orchard, TN. He passed away on September 13, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

He is survived by his wife Mildred Rae (Owens) Sherrill; children Jason Ernie Sherrill, Paul Murray, Larry Murray, and Danny Sherrill; and grandchildren Dillion Sherrill, Chivon Murray, Robert Murray, Larry Murray, Tonya Murray, Anthony Whitt, Jennifer Morris, Josh Sherrill, Jeremy Sherrill, and Sarah Sherrill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm with the service to follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Dudley Evans and Dillion Sherrill officiating. Burial will be at Crossville City Cemetery immediately following the service.
