William Lawrence Owen, age 90, was born on December 20, 1931 to Homer Frank and Mildred Blanche Harrison Owen in Nashville, TN and passed away on June 27, 2022 in Mt. Juliet, TN.

He worked for the United States Postal Service and in his free time enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving cars, and doing crossword puzzles. He loved eating sweets with a Coca-Cola.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Dorothy E. Owen “Punkin”, his dog Pepper, sister Shirley Felts, sisters-in-law Patricia (Charles) Flynn and Nannie Rice, brother-in-law Robert Frazier, and many loving, adoring nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wallace Owen, sister June Witmer, and sisters-in-law Sylvia Cooke and Patsy Frazier.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00 to 1:00pm with the service to follow at 1:00pm. Vern Daugherty will officiate and burial will be in Clifty Cemetery immediately following the service.
