February 16, 1939 – June 23, 2022

Linda Lou (Glatthaar) Tiffany, age 83, passed into her Savior’s arms on June 23, 2022. Linda was born on February 16, 1939 in Geneseo, Illinois. She married Peter Tiffany on December 22, 1957 in Geneseo, Illinois.

Linda was a homemaker who placed her family at the center of everything. She enjoyed baking, reading, camping, golf, board games, playing the piano, playing the bassoon in various bands, bridge, bowling, cheering on the lady Vols, and making everyone around her feel loved and special.

She was a wonderful wife and mother, who put everyone else first. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and a longtime member of the Methodist church. Linda was a bright spirit with a quiet and kind soul.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Peter Tiffany; her children Martin Tiffany (Susan), of Thornton, Colorado, Laura Tiffany Moore (David) of East Lansing, Michigan, and James Tiffany of Midland, Michigan; her grandchildren Ashley Tiffany, Collin Tiffany, Cody Moore (Anna), Daniel Moore (Amanda), and Michael Tiffany; and by her great grandchildren Devin Tiffany, Phillip Gardella, Riley Moore, Quinn Moore, and Roslyn Moore.

In addition to her parents, Howard and Irene Glatthaar, she was preceded in death by her brother, Vern Desplinter.

A private family gathering will be held later in celebration of Linda’s life. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to your local animal shelter as Linda had a soft spot in her heart for her furry friends.
