Dollie Turner, age 86, was born to Ernest and Martha Brown on March 31, 1935 in Crossville, TN. She passed away at her home on December 12, 2021.
Dollie enjoyed crocheting and watching the hummingbirds.
She is survived by her brother Ed Brown; sister-in-law Pansy Brown; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special caregiver Wannalee Hennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Martha Ardelia Hyder Brown; her husband Charles Buck Turner; son Charles Turner; and her siblings Herbert (Zella) Brown and Willie Brown.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Stevens Gap Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 12p-2p with a service to follow at 2p. She be buried in Linary Cemetery immediately following the service.
Dollie was a beautiful woman. She loved God and was a life long member of the Church of Christ. She loved Mark Lowry and the Gaithers. She and Buck owned and ran Turners greenhouse for many years. They even received a letter and flag from President Reagan for recognition of their greenhouse. Dollie loved mini ceramic pitchers and had over 300 from around the world on display at her home. She was a pure Godly woman and will be greatly missed.
