John (Jack) B Eisenlord passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2021 after a short illness. He was born to Elsie and John Eisenlord of Pontiac, MI on September 3, 1929. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Elva Blymyer of Midland, MI and Shirley Haller of Coleman, MI, and son Kenneth. He is survived by his wife Geraldine (Ulanowicz, formerly of Midland, MI), son David (Ann), daughter Joan (Tom) Powers, and son James, along with 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Jack graduated with a degree in Physics from Michigan Technological University and served in the Air Force in Morocco. He worked for more than 30 years for the Fisher Body division of General Motors in Michigan, New York, and Ohio.
Jack had many hobbies including hunting, playing bridge, cooking, and bread baking, but his true passions were golf and fishing. He was an avid reader, and one could usually find him with a book in his hand if there wasn’t already a gold club or fishing pole there. He traveled extensively wit his wife, his most recent trip being to Australia and New Zealand with his wife Gerry and son Jim.
Jack was a devoted husband and father. He loved children, and was adored by his own children and grandchildren. He rarely met a person he didn’t like, the same can be said of cookies.
This wise, gentle man will be remembered fondly and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
A mass of Christian burial will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on December 14, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 7503 Peavine Road, Crossville, TN, USA.
Very nicely done, I’m certain Jack would approve and chuckle at the “ “gold club”! He will be fondly remembered by many, and admired by all that truly knew him! Blessings to the family as well as prayers! RIP Uncle Jack❣️
