Burl Brinson

Burl Wendall Brinson was born on January 20, 1942 in Fort Meade, Florida.He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 19, 2021 in Crossville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Roscoe Brinson and Luna Eddings Brinson and his sister Joanna Brinson.
He is survived by his wife, Janeil Taylor Brinson of Crossville, Tennessee; his daughters, Jaton Brinson Fowler (Greg) of Crossville, Tennessee and Kimberly Brinson Clark (Willie) of Brush Creek, Tennessee; his brother, Rev. Russell Brinson of Cleveland, Tennessee; four grandsons, one granddaughter and two step-granddaughters; four great-grandsons and seven great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter.
He leaves behind a Godly legacy and an example of Christianity to all who knew him.

The family will receive fiends on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Crossville First Freewill Baptist Church from 10 to 12 with a service to follow. Bro. Mike McCoy will officiate and burial will be in Big Lick Cemetery.

  1. Burl was a good friend and one you could count on. When he was in church in Crab Orchard, he was a leader in that church and did much to further the Kingdom of God there. He was a significant help years ago when we brought a Christian Power Team to Cumberland County. That team won 641 to Christ in one 4-day period and over 1,500 came to the altar. Burl and I set-up the stage and took it down every night the power team was here. I have missed Burl’s corny jokes for a number of years but I look forward to hearing them again some day in Heaven. May God rest his soul and give Janeil comfort in Burl’s passing.
