“Bruce” Allen Smith, age 66, was born June 26, 1945 in Louisville, KY and died April 13, 2012 in Crossville, TN. For most of his life he was a Boilermaker and was part of the Boilermaker’s Union. He worked at Walmart in the frozen food and dairy department in Crossville, TN for seven years. In Florida he was a staff minister at Lakeland Foursquare Church for 20 years and at The Garden in Pleasant Hill, TN for six years. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, preaching and working with electronics.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Smith of Crossville, TN; three sons, Clayton and Debbie Smith of FL, Tim and Christine Smith of TN, and Roland and Teresa Smith of FL; four daughters, Nancy Yaney and Phil, Sue Smith, Sherry Beasley and Greg all of FL, and Tammy Wilson and John of GA; grandchildren, Andrew, Tia, David, Amanda, Allison, Drew, Scotty, Hunter, Christian, Hunter, Brittany, Danny, Jordan, Emily, and Isabella; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bonnie J. Rollin of FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Bonnie Smith; one brother, Ronnie Smith; and a grandson, Brady.

A memorial service will be held at Lakeland Foursquare Church in Lakeland, FL on Saturday the 28th of April at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Garden in Pleasant Hill, TN.

A memoril Service will be held on Saturday May 26, 2012 3 pm at The Garden in Pleasant Hill with Andrew Shirah officiating.
