Patricia Leah Ellis

Patricia Leah Ellis, 68, of Crossville, TN, passed away in the early morning of August 13, 2020 at her home. She was born July 5, 1952 in Tipton IN, the daughter of Darrel and Peggie (Taylor) Perdue. She married Richard Clay Ellis, of Hoopston IL, and had three daughters. Pat worked as a medical secretary for 15 years and prided herself in the assisted raising of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard (Rick) Ellis and three daughters: Melissa (Matt) Clyde, Amanda (Jeff) Dyer, and Jessica (Russ) Brooks, all of Crossville TN. She is also survived by two sisters: Gail (Ray) Wix of Westmoreland TN, Debbie (Bob) Lange  of Tipton, Indiana; brother Kevin (Vickie) Perdue of Dallas, ORE. Survived also are 8 grandchildren ranging in age from 1 to 17 all of Crossville TN. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Darrel and Peggie (Taylor) Perdue of Lafayette TN. 

Cremation rights will be observed. Service will be held at Gateway Baptist Church, 53 Park Lane Spur, Crossville TN on Sunday, August 16, 2020. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm with Memorial service immediately to follow.

  1. Pat was a great member of the class of 1970. Great smile, always friendly and probably bailed me out with homework help a time or two! My wife, Val, is a breast cancer survivor. We know the pain that disease can inflict on a family. All our best to Pat’s family and friends.
