David Leroy Reynolds
David Leroy Reynolds, age 80, was born in Grand Marais, MI on February 27, 1932 and died March 18, 2012 in Crossville, TN. He was a teacher, football coach and athletic director for Lompoc Unified School District in California for forty years. He was a track starter for Santa Barbara and San Luis of Obispo County for over thirty years. He worked at the Soledad State Prison as a teacher and a life coach helping hundreds of inmates reach their next step in life for over nine years. Prior to that Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds owned a Red Carpet Reynolds and Associates Real Estate in Lompoc, California for six years. He was very close to the Lord, and was very devoted to his family, friends, and little dog Muffy. He was very passionate towards football, woodworking, making bamboo fly rods and tying flies. Memorial service will be held on Friday March 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Central Baptist Church, family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the start of service. Mr. Reynolds will be laid to rest in the Central Baptist Columbarium at a later date. Officiating the service will be Sr. Pastor Roland Smith, Pastor of 50 + Adults Billy Kemp, Minister of Music / Soloist Scott Cunningham and Soloist Jacquie Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Bobbie Reynolds, sons: Eric Leseberg (Phillipa) from Seattle, WA; and David P. Reynolds of Tulsa, OK; Daughters: Elizabeth Cole (Farris) from Martin, TN, Kathleen Reynolds of Sumrall, MS, and Pamela Belcher (Leroy) from Inman, SC. Grandchildren: Todd, Alicia, Adam, Kevin, Christian, Isabella, and Monica. Ten Great Grandchildren and his dog Muffy. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Eldora Reynolds; brother: Charles Reynolds and Sister Lois Wier
