Savannah Ayres, age 78, was born on April 21, 1942 to Frank Miller and Alice Barnwell in Crossville, TN and passed away on June 15, 2020 with her grandson Steven Moore, Jr. and daughter Phyllis Van Order by her side.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Girdley) Van Order; grandchildren, Steven Moore, Jr., Jessica (VanMiddlesworth) Watson (Nate), Warren VanMiddlesworth (Michelle), Randy Turley, Craig Turley, Rachelle Turley, Stacey Van Order and Phillip Van Order; great grandchildren, Steven Moore III, Kensington, Anndolyn, Ellinette VanMiddlesworth, Brinley and Matthew Watson; sisters, Mary (Miller) Limburg (Robert) and Lola Miller; nephew, George Michael Neal; step children, Kelly (Ayres) Bodell (Chris) and Christine (Ayres) Kellay (James); special friends, Mary and Bill Cress, Joanne Love, and Annie Dagle and her companion poodle, Gloria.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Ayres; daughter, Kathy (Girdley) Turley; and siblings, George, Ernest, and Robert Miller, and Marie, Beulah, and Bernice.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 11 to 1 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services for Savannah will also be held on Saturday following visitation. She will be laid to rest in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Savannah spent a large portion of her life in Battle Creek, Michigan and a memorial/celebration of life will be held there at a later date to be determined.

So sorry for aunt Savannah’s passing. It’s always hard to lose someone you love. Just know she’s at peace & is enjoying seeing all her past loved ones. She will always be with us in spirit.
