On May 30th, 2020, Leamon Lloyd Hawn passed away at the age of 84. He died peacefully in the presence of his immediate family from cancer in Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville, TN, where he and his wife, Nola, have resided for 60 years. Leamon lived his long and memorable life with purpose and integrity. He was a energetic and accomplished man that never stopped moving. He mowed his lawn and cared for his much loved pets, Faith his dog and Tom Cat (kitty), all the way up to two weeks prior to his passing which he truly enjoyed. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend to many, and he will be greatly missed by everyone.
Leamon is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Luina Hawn, brothers, John, Jesse and Dangle, sisters, Callie and Ruth and son Ricky Leamon Hawn.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nola Faye Matthews Hawn; daughter, Rita Delvin (Don), sons, Michael Hawn Sr., Mark Hawn Sr. (Stacey); 17 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren.
He was a very accomplished man. He became a master craftsman owning his own business, L & M Cabinet Shop. Leamon could fix or repair almost anything. Having only an eighth grade education, he was a very intelligent man greatly exceeding his school education. He enjoyed acquiring knowledge on a daily basis and was always excited the learn new things.
Leamon proudly served in the Army, 101st Airborne Division, for three years in which he was honorably discharged.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 5, 2020, at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home from 12 to 3 with service to follow at 3. Bro. Wayne Matthews will be officiating and burial will be in Rinnie Cemetery. The pallbearers are the grandchildren, Joey, Zack, Ryan, Michael Jr., Leamon, Jerry, AJ, Austin, TJ, Steven and Lee.
