Warren Bruce Maples

Warren Bruce Maples, the Tomato Man, age 73, was born on April 6, 1946 in Clinton, TN and passed away on December 27, 2019. He was a truck driver, transporting produce all over the country. He enjoyed working and sold produce to the community. A loving man, he leaves behind a legacy of being forgiving and non judgmental. A family man, he leaves a gap in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He was loved by everyone- family and friends.

He is survived by his children- Amanda French (Keith), Mary Ridgeway, and Tony Puente; grandchildren- Sarah, Eric, William, TJ, Hunter, Samantha, and Bentley; siblings- Roy Maples (Barbara), Gail Fish (Ricky), Fay Campbell, and Dorthy David. He is preceded in death by his parents- Lee and Adean Ollice and siblings- Ervin, Jimmy, and Ray Ollice.

The family will receive friends at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2019, from 6 to 8 Central. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at 12:00 Central with Johnny Goldston officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his parents in Forester Cemetery in Oliver Springs, TN.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Heart Association.

I often think “I need to call dad and tell him…”, then I remember and it hits me all over again that I won’t be able to hear your voice or schedule one of our dinners together. I’m so sorry I was unable to be at the service, but you’ve never left my heart or mind and I know you understand. I love you, dad!
