Elsie Marie Henderson, age 85, of Pikeville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2012.
She was a homemaker and loved gardening, canning, and quilting. She had a great love of the Bible and a love of gospel music which she listened to daily.
She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Floyd Henderson, parents, Stella Thurman Henderson and Robert L. Henderson, great granddaughter, Christina Waldo, sisters, Bula Rothwell, Eula Hall, Lula Williams, and two brothers, Charles E. Henderson and J.U. Henderson.
She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Sue Redwine and husband, Jerry Wayne Redwine of Pikeville, TN, two grandchildren, Nicole Waldo and Mark Redwine of Crossville, TN, four great grandchildren, Brandon and Dylan Waldo and Hayley and Mason Redwine, one sister, Lena Smith of Battle Creek, Michigan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday, March 4th, 2012 in the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Pastor Milton Carr officiating. Burial will be in the Worthington Cemetery.
