  1. I had the Blessed privilege of not only attending church with Stephen and his family but also working with him for about 6 years when they lived in Jackson, MS. Stephen was a man of God and of faith. He shared his faith and encouraged me with words from the Bible and natural wisdom when I thought life was hopeless. During those the years, I needed to “see truth” being lived out with a man who loved his Savior and his family, and there was *always* his witty humor to remind me that the glass was really *half full*– not half empty!! I do not know the times when I was at the bottom in life that he and Ms. Lois lifted me from the despair. He was a man who reached across ethnic barriers and treated all with the love of Christ. I praise the Lord that I call him *brother in Christ*. Stephen, thank you for showing me what a husband, father, co-worker, neighbor, Good Samaritan and Man of God looked like. I love you & Ms Lois! Agape’, Gloria
