Wilma Ray McCoy, age 75, was born on February 9, 1944 to James Everett and Lola Belle Hassler Ray in Crossville, TN and passed away in her home on September 26, 2019. She was an artist and loved painting and crocheting. She was a homemaker, Mary Kay Sales Lady, and in her later years enjoyed feeding the sick and elderly. The job she loved most was being a grandmother. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye! She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Crossville Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children- Marty McCoy (Susan), Glen McCoy (Ruth), and Tracy Tatum (Jon); grandchildren- Marcus, Nick, Sarah, Hannah, Abby and Brittany; great grandchildren- Riley, Joseph, Xavier, Ryan, Paxton, Aria, Amara, Maximus, Titus and Mia; and siblings- Jerry Ray and Maxine Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Herbert H. McCoy, brother- Myron Ray, and great grandson- Colt McCoy.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 3 to 5 with the service to follow at 5. Jack Chadwell will officiate. The burial will be with her husband in Elmore Cemetery at a later date.
I was your neighbor in linary. Don’t know if your kids will remember me at the time only had one son Donnie and then just before we sold the house to Joyce and Ronnie my son Danny was born. At the good times and some rough time they will know rest in peace
