Alberta Garrett, 73, was born on January 22, 1946 to Toy and Maggie Kerley in Crossville, TN. She passed away September 19, 2019. Alberta enjoyed cooking and canning and traveling to other places. She also enjoyed sewing and going to yard sales.

She is survived by her son, William Threet (Carolee); sister, Christine Johnson (John); grandchildren, Kelsey and Kayla Threet, Shelby and Megan McDonald, and Miranda and Justin McDonald; and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Carlie McDonald, Vinston Threet, and Eugene Garrett; son, Jeffrey McDonald; and brothers, Wayne Kerley and David Kerley.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 1 to 3:00 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services for Alberta will also be held on Sunday following visitation with Pastor Kenneth Clayton officiating. She will be laid to rest in New Era Cemetery.
