Beverly (Bev) Ann Tenneson, age 89, of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, passed away on September 17, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred (Al) Andrew Tenneson. She is survived by brother, Bruce Walla, and by children, Barbara (Roger) Grivno, Debra (Robert) Carlson, Alfred (Doris) Tenneson Jr., Gary (Diane) Tenneson, eight grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
Beverly was born on June 26, 1930. Father, Bernhard (Ben) Albert Mickelson and mother, Minnie Pauline (Lean) Michelson. Beverly and her brother were raised in Moorhead, MN.
Beverly and Alfred fell in love and were married on November 24, 1949. They truly complemented one another. A passage chosen for Al & Bev’s wedding program was Genesis 2:18: The Lord said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Together, they loved and raised their family.
Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She never tired of conversing with other. She demonstrated her love and compassion to all.
Beverly had a wide variety of jobs throughout her life, but her job as a wife and mother was always her priority.
Throughout the years, Bev and Al established homes in Moorhead, MN, Dilworth, MN, Miami, FL, Iron Mountain, MI, Portland, OR, Tomah, WI, St. Cloud, MN, Perham, MN, Detroit Lakes, MN, Niceville, FL, and Crossville, TN. But the family always returned to their favorite place, “the lake” near Perham, MN, up until 2011.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20th, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Fairfield Glade 130 Town Centre Dr. Crossville, TN 38571.
