Earlene Pugh Lewthwaite, age 86, was born on June 17, 1933 in Livingston, TN to Lonnie and Ruth Bowman. She passed away on September 14, 2019. Earlene loved cooking for her family and going to church. She also enjoyed fishing and sewing.

She is survived by her children, Nadene Pugh Golliher (Dennis) and Bruce Pugh; daughter-in-law, Rosie Pugh; grandchildren, Monte Garrett (Joy), Eric Garrett (Tonya), Jeremy Garrett (Rachel),  Natalie Garrett, Jason Pugh (Betsy), and Travis Pugh (Misty); 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Kathleen Wyatt, Hollis Bowman, Maude McCowan, and Beulah Long.

She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Sherman Pugh; second husband, Jack Lewthwaite; son, Robert Pugh; great granddaughter, Kayla Pugh; and siblings, Leta Mae Boles, Janie Tabor, Domer Bowman, Tom Bowman, Denvil Bowman, Paul Bowman, AJ Stringer, Treva Wilson, and Lena Kendrick.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 6 to 9 at First Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services for Earlene will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11 at First Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Mike McCoy officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mayland Cemetery.
