Betty Ann Monday Turner, age 82, was born in Crab Orchard, TN on May 16, 1935. She passed away on April 1, 2018. She lived in Crossville, TN. Betty was married to the late Chester A. Turner for 41 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Turner and daughter-in-law, Brenda Turner; many nieces and nephews; and her very best friend Nella Rae Bilbrey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Berthel Monday and Edith Barnwell Monday; sisters, Louise Claar, Wanda Hamby, and Elizabeth Givens; brother, Junior Monday; and good friends, Wanda Mason and Ila Holt.

To all my nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends: I leave my love and memories of the good and bad times together. You may grieve for a while, but know I am with loved ones who are waiting and watching. See you there.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 11:30 to 1:00 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service for Betty will also be held on Thursday following visitation with Darrell Bilbrey officiating. She will be laid to rest in Turner Cemetery.
