Katie Lee Rector, 88, was born on July 7, 1929 in Wilder, TN to the late George and Daisy Marsh. She passed away on February 4, 2018. Katie loved to travel and discover new places.

She is survived by her daughters: Zella Brown (Orville) and Reba Willis (George); granddaughter: India Akins; great grandchildren: Colten and Galen Akins; siblings: Rose Brown, Sam Marsh, Albert Marsh, Faye Lewis, Shirley Jones, J.T. Marsh, Mable Ashburn, Darrell Marsh, Jewel Kilby, Janie Honeycutt, and Jody Marshall.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Alva Rector; and several siblings.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 6th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services for Katie will be held on Wednesday, February 7th at 2 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Potter officiating. She will be laid to rest in Browntown Cemetery.
