Archie Eugene McCoy, 74, of Crossville passed away peacefully on January 23, 2018. He was born on May 8, 1943 to Mirtie and Helen Howard McCoy in Lancing, TN. Archie served in the U.S. Army from April 7, 1961 to March 31, 1964. He worked for Chrysler Motor Company in Michigan and after retirement, enjoyed delivering pizza for Papa John’s.

He was an avid musician and meticulous craftsman. He had extreme talent in guitar playing and singing and was a member of several bands throughout his life.

Archie is survived by his wife: Kim Terry McCoy, children: Jennifer Phagan (Luke) and Shane McCoy (Michelle), grandchildren: Cameron and Ciara Phagan, and Dylan and Ryan McCoy, sister: Brenda Wing, and a host special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Mirtie and Helen McCoy, sister: Wanda Cox, brother: Paul McCoy, and special aunt: Evelyn Howard Mayes.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at Clear Creek Church in Lancing, TN from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. eastern time with services following visitation. He will be laid to rest in Clear Creek Cemetery.
