Phyllis Ann Baldwin Cross, age 60, was born on October 19, 1957 in Angier, NC and passed away on December 29, 2017 in Cookeville, TN. She enjoyed working in the service industry, but her family was her life. She loved to cook and go out to eat. She enjoyed needle crafts, such as, cross stitch, knitting, and sewing and time spent with Danny fishing, camping, canning and selling produce at their produce stand. She loved to be busy and didn’t let grass grow under her feet.

Phyllis is survived by her husband- Danny Cross; daughters- Angela Henry (Brody), Amy Faircloth (Jose), Shannon Christopher (Larry), and Megan Cross (Brian); daughter-in-law- Sara Baldwin; grandchildren- Holly Morris (AJ), Kayla, Josh, Katie, Michelle, Shayla, Jesse, Junior, Jordan, Justin, Haley, and Abby; a great grandson- Mason; and her dog- Peddy.

She is preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Maude, who raised her; son-Clifton James Baldwin; and grandparents- Cosby and Mary Cross.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, January 3, 2018, from 5 to 8 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with the funeral service on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 with Hank Jones officiating. Burial will be in Mayland Cemetery.
