Tom “Pa” Sherrill, 60, of Crossville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January, 10th, 2012. He worked at TVA. He was a member of Crossville First Free Will Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, and Pa. *He was father he didn’t have to be.*
A man with a kind heart for everyone he ever met, he loved being with his family, fishing, and fixing up old cars and trucks.
He is preceded in death by his father, Archie Sherrill.
He is survived by his wife, June Sherrill, sons, Billy Seffron and Mark Norrod, daughters, Tabithia Seffron and Angela Norrod, four grandkids, Dustin and Cassie Seffron and Devin and Dustin Davis, all of Crossville, his mother, Wilma Sherrill of Crossville, mother in law, Genese Davis, brothers, Tony, Calvin, Alvin, and Jim Sherrill, sister Francis Conkel, all of Ohio, Maryville, and Crossville, also brothers, Greg, Stan, and Lynn Davis, sisters, Janetta James and Susie Davis, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 12, 2012, from 11:00-2:00 PM at Crossville First Free Will Baptist Church with Brother Mike McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at New Era Cemetery.
Thomas was a great guy.We ran around together when they lived on Logan street in Celina Ohio back in the early 70s.His family treated everyone like they were their own.Worked at Mersmans brothers and Unico Inc together.After Unico closed the doors I lost track of Thomas.We had a lot of good times together setting on the front porch and watching people drive by.Then he had the nick name of Spook.Sorry of his passing,and the loss of another friend.Rick Burris,Mendon Ohio
