Emma Ann Hirsch, 84, of Crossville, TN, passed away on November 13, 2011, at Generations Nursing Home in Spencer, TN.  Her family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 on Friday, November 18th, with Father Antony saying a few words before the visitation ends.

She was the former Emma DaPra who resided in Greenwich, CT, most of her life.  Emma was born on May 8th, 1927 in Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania.  After graduating high school, she became a housewife upon marriage to George Hirsch which occurred June 8, 1946 in Greenwich.  She relocated with her husband and only child, Kenneth, to Crossville, TN, in 1994.  Emma enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, and was a parishioner at St. Alphonsus.

Survivors include her husband, George, son, Kenneth of Crossville, TN, sisters, Brenda Engenito and Doris Loparco, both of Greenwich, CT, niece, Jennifer Wood of Mechanicsville, VA, nephews, Matthew Engenito and Wayne Loparco, both of Greenwich, CT.

She was preceded in death by her mother Carmela and father Leo DaPra.
