Wayne Steven Hurt, Sr., age 53, was born on May 12, 1962 to David Hurt and the late Mercedes Tholl Hurt in Hazel Crest, Illinois. He passed away at his home on April 10, 2016 in Crossville, TN.

Wayne is survived by his father- David Hurt; wife- Susan Hurt; son- Wayne Hurt, Jr. of Kentucky; daughters- Emily Fitzgerald (Jamie) of Virginia and Danielle Hurt (Jerome Graham) of Crossville, Tennessee; grandchildren- Raven Hurt, Josilyn Hurt, and Lakota Graham; brothers- Donald, Robert, Chuck, and Joe; sisters- Debbie Hurt; Mary Johnson, and Tracy Hurt; and sister-in-law- Carrie Hurt.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother- Mercedes Tholl Hurt; and brother- David Hurt.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with a funeral service following visitation at 6 p.m.
