Pearl Hassler, age 88, was born on November 17, 1927 to the late Frank and Martha Webb in Crossville, TN. She passed away at her home on March 23, 2016 in Crossville, TN. Pearl loved going to church and singing, and she was a member of Stevens Gap Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, quilting, and going to yard sales. She also enjoyed going fishing and playing rook.
She is survived by her children- Don Hassler (Kathy) of Crossville, TN, Dan Hassler (Carmen) of North Ridgeville, OH, Carolyn Lawson of Crossville, TN, Thom Hassler (Carrie) of Crossville, TN; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and siblings- Milo Webb (Beulah) of Crossville, TN, Edd Webb of Crossville, TN, Lola Anderson of Crossville, TN, Shelby Kennedy of Karns, TN, and Margie Hicks of Crossville, TN.
She is preceded in death by her husband- Gene Hassler; daughter- Glenda Blaylock; parents- Frank and Martha Webb; and siblings- Ethel Wright, Roy Webb, Litton Webb, and Ray Webb.
Family will receive friends on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service for Pearl will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Arlon Way officiating. She will be laid to rest in Big Lick Cemetery.
So sorry for the loss of your mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a very special lady that was always so welcoming. Am sending prayers for all of you.
