Donald Roy Smith, age 79, was born on March 10, 1937 to Beverly “Bill” and Rose Battaglia Smith in Chicago, IL and passed away on March 18, 2016 in Crossville, TN. He was a diesel mechanic for Frito Lay. In his spare time, he enjoyed outdoor activities; such as, boating, fishing, camping and working in the yard.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Hale Smith; daughters- Caryn Green (Steven) and Donna Proveaux (Sanford); grandchild- Jessica; great grandchildren- Nicholas, Arabella, Bryce, Alex; sisters- Arlene Fox and Carol Lieber; and brother- Leon Smith all of Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, named after her father, Beverly Smith.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, from 4 to 6 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home.
