Robert Cleon Fowler was born on October 23, 1926 in Fort Payne, Alabama to Robert and Grace Fowler. He passed away on February 29, 2016 in Crossville, TN. Robert enjoyed spending his time reading the Bible. He loved going to church and was a member of The Church of God. Robert also enjoyed watching sports. He was a retired licensed professional painter.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years- Laverne; brothers- Norman (Barbara Ann) and John A. (Sissie), both of Texas; sister- Peggy (David Parker) of Texas; sisters- and brothers-in-law- Judy Parker (Darle R.), Wanda Jacobs (Eugene), both of Chattanooga, TN, and Jerry Cyree (Frances) of Henagar, AL.

A graveside service for Robert will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery officiated by Bobby G. Wood.
