John M. Howard, age 85, was born to Ola J. and Luvernia Howard on December 6, 1930 in Lancing, TN. He passed away at his home in Crossville, TN on February 18, 2016.

John is survived by his son- Stephen O. Howard (Barbara) of Fortville, IN; daughter- Tambra S. Howard of Crossville, TN; daughter-in-law- Mary C. Howard of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren- Jeremy M. Howard, Melynda J. Emler, Jonathan P. Howard, Kiley E. Bowles, Stephanie M. Howard, Scott A. Curry, and Erin N. Curry; 6 great grandchilren; and brother- Allen J. Howard of Crossville, TN.

John was preceded in death by his parents-Ola J. and Luvernia Howard; wife Oda Howard; and son- John Michael Howard.

His family will be receiving family and friends on Saturday, February 20, 2016  from 1:00 to 3:00 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville, IN on Monday, February 22, 2016.
