Potter, Morris Luther – Age 82 of Crossville, TN died on October 27, 2011.  He was born in Cumberland County on May 13, 1929 to the late Vernon and Rena Potter.  He attended school in Cumberland County and graduated from Pleasant Hill Academy before being stationed in South Korea with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  During his career he worked at Crossville Rubber Company, Cumberland County Fire Department, Tennessee Wildlife Maintenance Department, Meadow Creek City Lake, and was a Constable for the 5^th District.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Polly, in 2002.  He is survived by his son, Morris Vernon Potter (Marlene) and daughter, Linda Gail Hassler (James); three grandsons, Lance Potter (Marty), Nicholas Potter, Jeremy Hassler and granddaughter, Terri Hamby (Brian); three great-grandchildren, Haley Potter, Lily Dycus, and Turner Hassler; and sister, Marie Potter Young of Nashville.  Morris leaves behind many friends and many memories throughout Cumberland County and will be deeply missed.
