Jayne Conley Bailey, age 93, was born on June 5, 1922 in Cumberland, MD to the late Herbert and Gayle Alexander Conley. She passed away on December 20, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was a retired school teacher, who resided at Good Samaritan’s, and was active in the California Teacher’s Association. Jayne graduated in 1945 with a BA from the University of Mary Washington in Fredricksburg, VA. She was very supportive of everything her boys did in school and the sports teams they were involved in. She loved to travel the around the world and the USA. She was active in the Episcopal church and Daughters of the King. She was also a supporter of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and the local little league teams.

She is survived by her sons- Bruce, Herb, and Mark; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and sister- Corrine Stuart.

She was preceded in death by her parents- Herbert and Gayle Alexander Conley; brother- Herb; daughter in law- Isabelle; brother in law- Bonar Stuart; and 1 great grandchild.

A memorial service for Jayne will be held Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Episcopal Church in Crossville, TN with Rev. Fred Wilcoxson and Deacon JoAnn Wilcoxson officiating.
