Johnny Everett Norris, age 60, was born on January 10, 1955 in Crossville, TN to the late Chester Norris and Lennis Barnwell Norris and passed away August 22, 2015 in Crossville, TN. He worked for the railroad and Manchester Tank. He loved singing, telling jokes, and watching television, especially wrestling and the cartoon, Tom and Jerry.
He is survived by his wife- Stacey Gregory Norris; sons- JJ Norris, Michael Blackwell, and Chris Blackwell Jr (Haley); daughters- Tanisha Templeton (Leslie) and Evelyn Blackwell;
grandchildren- Jacklyn, Aspen, and Bentley; brothers- Bill Potter, Shane Potter, and Pete Potter; and sisters- Elizabeth and Glennis.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, brother- Claude Norris; and sisters- Della Sullivan, Thelma, and Ellen Jones.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, from 5 to 8 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1:00 with Bro. Jerry Mayo officiating. Burial will be in Haley’s Grove Cemetery.
