James Richard Alderman, 72, of Crossville passed away Oct. 17, 2011.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday October 20, 2011 at 5:00 PM;  Taylor’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Chandler officiating

He worked as an over the road truck driver and a member of the Church of God. He was born April 11, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to Wilbur Benson Alderman and Anna Mae Bellman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles and Rodney Alderman of Dayton, OH.

He is survived by his wife: Sue and daughter Jennifer Bruce both of Crossville. Five Sons:  Keith Alderman of Corbin, KY; Terry Alderman of Clarkrange, TN; James Alderman, II ,Jack Alderman, and Jonathan Alderman all of  Crossville; 19 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.  Sisters: Carol Benner of  Casa Grande, AZ, Kathleen Davis of Zephyrhills, FL and Lisa Fairbank of Soddy Daisy, TN. Brothers: Jeffery Alderman of Port St. Lucie, FL, John Alderman of Dunlap, TN, Joey Alderman , and Jerry Alderman both of White Land, Indiana.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. were in charge of the arrangements.
