Jerry Martin, age 89, was born on June 12, 1925 in Marion Co., WV to Lonnie and Gladys DeVault and passed away February 14, 2015 in Crossville, TN. She was a housewife well loved by her family, enjoying, sewing, crocheting, reading and camping throughout her years. Jerry was a member and beloved Sunday School teacher at Homestead Baptist Church.
Jerry is survived by her son- Billy M. Martin II (Jeannie); daughters- Jerrie Sue Davis (Jack), Pam Lawson (Bill), and Tracy Bryant (Jack); grandchildren- Abby Moore (Chad), Todd Martin, Leslie Beeler (Sean), Rachel Hathaway (Luke),Janel Graves (Trey), Trina Hinch, Haley Rawlings, Bryan Moore (Kimberley), Andrew Bryant, Emily Bryant, Adam Bryant, and Austin Bryant; and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents- Lonnie E. DeVault and Gladys Henderson DeVault; husband- Billy M. Martin; brother- Carson DeVault; and sister- Madalyn Ware.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 to 1:00, February 18, 2015 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with service to follow at 1:00. Burial is being held on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Haley’s Grove Cemetery at Crab Orchard. Bro. Bill Roberts will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Bryant, Adam Bryant, Austin Bryant, Bryan Moore, Ketron Graves, Trey Graves, Chad Moore, Sean Beeler, Luke Hathaway, and Todd Martin.
